Christian Lawyers Alliance Pakistan (CLAP) is an alliance of born-again, Spirit-filled Christian lawyers practising before the lower courts, the High Courts and the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Our members are Pakistani Christian lawyers and Christian advocates in Pakistan, and CLAP is the original, real CLAP in Pakistan. We were founded in 2020 to make sure that no Christian in Pakistan stands before a court alone. The Alliance is led by Advocate Soba Sorya, our Founding Patron in Chief and the most senior practising Christian lawyer in the country.

Born in Lahore, Advocate Soba Sorya was enrolled by the Punjab Bar Council in 1982 and with the Lahore High Court in 1996. For more than four decades he has defended Christians in civil and criminal matters at every level of the courts in Punjab, and he is recognised as the most senior practising Christian lawyer in Pakistan.
In 2020 he gathered a group of born-again, Spirit-filled Christian lawyers in Lahore and founded Christian Lawyers Alliance Pakistan, so that the persecuted would always have a lawyer who fears God more than men. Every office holder of CLAP serves under his patronage.
Our Founding Patron in Chief has practised since 1982 and has appeared before the Lahore High Court since 1996.
We never charge a persecuted Christian for defence.
Our lawyers are believers who fear God more than men, and they know the law.
CLAP has no branches or affiliates other than those listed on this website.
