Lahore, Pakistan – August 17, 2023 – The Christian Lawyers Alliance Pakistan (CLAP) expresses deep concern and condemnation regarding the  attacks on churches in Jaranwala, Pakistan, which occurred on August 16, 2023. These despicable acts of violence have caused immense distress and fear within the Christian community in Pakistan.

The targeted assault on multiple churches in Jaranwala is a stark reminder of the ongoing persecution faced by Christians in the region. CLAP stands in solidarity with the affected individuals and communities and strongly condemns these heinous acts of intolerance and violence.
