This is Akhiz Masih, the son of Fazal Mahmood, born in Kasur, Pakistan. He received his primary education from an Islamic high school before moving to Sialkot with his family. Akhiz completed his matriculation in 1994 and pursued higher secondary education at the historic Murray College, graduating with an FSC in pre-medical in 1999. Following his family’s relocation to Multan, Akhiz earned his Bachelor’s degree from Bahauddin Zikria University. He then joined a bank, where he served for nine years until 2013. In 2017, Akhiz obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
Having achieved two significant milestones – acquiring a license as a lower court lawyer and completing a Master’s degree in Political Science in 2019 – Akhiz also successfully obtained a license for the Lahore High Court. Throughout his life, Akhiz has been deeply engaged in human rights activities. This commitment led him to deepen his knowledge of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), prompting him to pursue a Master of Philosophy program in Human Rights.
In 2023, Akhiz completed his M. Phil program, focusing his thesis on “a case study of the Christian community and human rights.”
