Condemnation Protest: Standing in Solidarity with the Persecuted Christian Community in Pakistan
26th of May : The Christian Lawyers Alliance Pakistan (CLAP) stands united with the Christian community in Sargodha, Pakistan, who recently fell victim to a brutal attack by a vicious mob. The harrowing incident involved the beating of elderly Christian men, the burning of houses and businesses, and instilled fear among the Christian community in Sargodha and beyond.
We, as a collective of born-again Christian lawyers, raise our voices to condemn these heinous acts of violence and persecution against our Christian brothers and sisters. We urge the government of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, the President, the Army General, and all law enforcement agencies to take a definitive stand in providing protection and security to the Christian communities in Pakistan.
The Brutal Attack on Christians in Sargodha Pakistan
These relentless attacks on Christians are not isolated incidents but a recurring pattern of hatred and extremism directed towards the Christian minority in Pakistan. We implore the authorities to intervene, ensure justice, and uphold equality for all citizens, regardless of their religion, race, or beliefs.
In our pursuit of justice and protection, we are extending our plea to international Christian organizations and global media to shed light on the ongoing plight of Christians in Pakistan. Thousands of Christians have been forced to flee their homeland in search of peace and safety in countries like Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
As the Christian community in Pakistan faces continuous persecution, we call upon churches to unite in prayer and fasting, seeking God’s intervention and justice in the face of adversity. We believe that our Lord from heaven will not ignore our cries for help and will be our ultimate source of refuge and justice.
The time has come for us to stand together in solidarity with the persecuted and oppressed individuals who are targeted because of their faith and identity. The Christian Lawyers Alliance Pakistan (CLAP) remains steadfast in our commitment to seeking justice, equality, and protection for all Christians in Pakistan. We must join hands, raise our voices, and advocate for a society where every individual is respected, valued, and protected, regardless of their religious beliefs. Let us stand as one and pray for a future where peace and harmony prevail for all.
